Last week we gathered for our 2nd Networking Day, an event designed to connect professionals and share ideas on the challenges and opportunities that digitalisation brings. From the first coffee to the last toast, it was a day full of inspiring conversations, enriching debates and fun times.
Our guests
We started the morning with a warm welcome coffee, where the attendees, coffee in hand, began to get to know each other and exchange first impressions. It was a great start to what was to come.
José Ramón Illán, with his energy and always fresh vision, spoke to us about ‘Paradigm shifts to improve processes’. He made us reflect on how to adapt to the new times, highlighting the importance of seeing things from a new perspective in order to improve. More than one of us left with a head full of ideas!
Afterwards, it was the turn of Mariano Blanchard, who brilliantly summarised the ‘Global challenges in the digitalisation of companies’. His talk was straight to the point, with examples we could all understand, and left the audience motivated to continue facing digital challenges with more clarity and confidence.
Team Thinking is Better Group Dynamics
One of the highlights of the event was the group dynamics. We were divided into teams led by our captains, who did a fantastic job – a special round of applause for them!
- Juan Carlos Moro Rodriguez, Corporate Director of Operations at Logista
- Jose Fuentes Redondo, Chief Information Officer at NORTHGATE SPAIN
- Javier Castillo, Distribution Systems Manager at Mahou San Miguel
- Rita Estevez Luaña, Independent Director Vodafone MORABANC Clarel
- María Jesús Gómez González, Project Technician at DomusVi Spain
They not only kept everyone on the same page, but also got each team to share their best ideas on how to tackle the challenges presented by Illán and Blanchard.
After the dynamics, we moved on to the debate, where the captains presented the conclusions of their groups. It was amazing to see how the different perspectives enriched the discussion and how everyone actively participated. Here it was clear that collaboration is the key to finding creative solutions.
A moment of reflection and conversation
At the end of the event, we did a short recap of the most important ideas, making it clear that we all took away valuable learnings. The visions shared and the use cases discussed during the debate were not only useful, but also a clear roadmap for those looking to advance their digitisation processes.
And as in any good event, we ended with a delicious cocktail. It was the perfect ending to continue talking in a more relaxed way, networking and, why not, laughing about how much we had learned.
We were very grateful for the participation of all the attendees and, especially, for the energy they brought to the event. We hope to see you at the next meetings! Always remember that we are here to accompany you every step of the way as your trusted technology innovation company.
