Luce participates in the II Job Fair CEOE Valladolid-UVa: Emplea_T that is organised jointly by CEOE Valladolid and the Faculty of Economics and Business and the Employment Area of the Vice-rectorate for Students and Employability.
It will be in person, on 26 April, from 16 to 20.30h, at the Faculty of Economics and Business.
We are also supported by the City Council of Valladolid and the Provincial Council of Valladolid, since the interests of all of us are aligned in this sense: to retain university talent in our city/province, since in many cases they “leave” because they do not know the professional opportunities nearby.
There are 29 participating companies from Valladolid and the province, as well as the programme for that day, with the timetables for the companies’ interventions in the Aula Magna of the faculty.
Last year the first local job fair was held, although it was virtual due to the circumstances, however both participating companies and students (massive) expressed their satisfaction and the need to continue with this type of initiative.
New this year, students who wish to do so will be able to hand-deliver their CVs to the companies at their stands (on the ground floor of the faculty) and obtain information about the companies, profiles they are looking for, selection processes, internships, etc. at each of the assigned desks.
In addition, some of them will offer the opportunity for selection interviews with some students (by appointment), in order to serve as a first step to bring the employer-candidate closer together. A place (classroom) will be set up for these processes.
