Javier Durán, CEO of Luce IT, inspires students at the Universidad Europea Miguel de Cervantes with a talk on Artificial Intelligence: Who do I talk to? Artificial Intelligence in Customer Service
This morning, Javier Durán, CEO of Luce IT, had the opportunity to share his experience and knowledge at the European University Miguel de Cervantes in Valladolid (UEMC).
In front of an audience made up mainly of students of Computer Science and Business Administration and Management (ADE), Durán gave a talk entitled: ¿Con quién hablo? Artificial Intelligence in Customer Service.
AI: an accessible reality from Valladolid
During his speech, Javier Durán underlined a clear and encouraging message: companies in Valladolid have all the potential to lead innovation projects in artificial intelligence (AI). With concrete examples of Luce IT’s work, he stressed that it is not necessary to leave the region to work on cutting-edge technology projects.
Luce IT, a Valladolid-based company, has developed AI solutions that are already making a difference in business. A prime example is LIA(Luce Intelligent Assistant), an intelligent assistant that is transforming customer service.
Not only is LIA facilitating more efficient communication, but it is also demonstrating how AI can be successfully integrated into critical processes, generating real and tangible impact.
Artificial intelligence and its practical application
The talk was not only a window into the future of customer service, but also a practical demonstration that AI is no longer a distant concept. As Durán explained, technologies such as LIA are designed to adapt to the specific needs of each customer, improving both the user experience and operational efficiency.
In addition, our CEO of Luce IT encouraged the students to explore the possibilities offered by AI and to consider Valladolid as an epicentre of technological opportunities. “Innovation knows no borders, and great things can be done from Valladolid”, he said.
An inspiring message for future professionals
Javier Durán’s participation at the UEMC made it clear that AI is not only the future, but a reality that is already changing the rules of the game in sectors such as customer service. More importantly, he conveyed a message of hope and local pride: bright minds and innovative projects do not have to look outside; Valladolid has the talent and capacity to lead this technological revolution.
A continued commitment to the universities of Valladolid
Javier Durán’s participation in the UEMC is yet another example of Luce IT’s commitment to local talent and its connection with the academic environment. Over the years, Luce has worked closely with the two Valladolid universities, the University of Valladolid (UVA) and the UEMC, strengthening the link between academic training and the real needs of the labour market. These collaborations have allowed many students to learn first-hand about innovative projects and explore the possibilities offered by artificial intelligence from their own city.
