ESAUTOMATIX is an ambitious industrial research project in effective collaboration whose main objective is to design an advanced and secure dual architecture that allows newly manufactured vehicles to operate autonomously and temporarily exclusively within the production plant.

Luce IT’s role in ESAUTOMATIX

The role of Luce IT in the ESAUTOMATIX project is strategic and focuses on ensuring the digital sovereignty of the generated data. In an environment where connectivity is key, its fundamental work focuses on three pillars:

Middleware Design: Development of the intermediate software architecture that scalably connects the factory infrastructure with the vehicle.
Independencia Tecnológica: Prevención del «vendor-locking» para asegurar el control total, la privacidad y la propiedad de los datos y estructuras frente a terceras partes.
Technological Independence: Prevention of vendor lock-in to ensure total control, privacy, and ownership of data and structures against third parties.

Companies forming the ESAUTOMATIX consortium

The consortium formed by Renault Group, the AIR Institute, and Luce IT thus lays the foundations for the Industry 4.0 of the future, developing pioneering in-plant autonomous mobility technology and contributing to a more efficient and safer automotive production model with total data sovereignty.

The ESAUTOMATIX project has been co-financed by the Institute for Business Competitiveness of Castile and León (ICE) and by the European Union through the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF), driving technological development, innovation, and quality industrial research in the region.
